From Belo Horizonte
to yours.
The story behind the name — and why it matters for your technology strategy.
I'm a technology consultant who believes that great infrastructure is invisible — it should just work, so your team can focus on what they do best.
Originally from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais — a city whose name literally means "Beautiful Horizon" — I carry that perspective into every engagement. The name belo.sh takes the first word of my hometown: "beautiful." Looking ahead, seeing clearly, building on solid ground.
After years building and scaling systems for startups and enterprise clients across Brazil and Canada, I realized that most technology problems aren't really technology problems. They're clarity problems. Teams know where they want to go — they just can't see the path.
That's what belo.sh is about. Not selling solutions — helping you see what's ahead, so you can make the right call with confidence.

The Road So Far
Key milestones on the journey.
Founded belo.sh
Launched an independent consulting practice helping startups and mid-market companies build infrastructure that scales. Based in Canada, rooted in Minas Gerais.
Senior Platform Engineer
Led platform engineering for a high-growth SaaS product. Built CI/CD pipelines, migrated to Kubernetes, reduced infrastructure costs by 40% while improving reliability.
Cloud Infrastructure Architect
Designed cloud architectures for enterprise clients across finance and healthcare. Led SOC 2 compliance initiatives and zero-trust network implementations.
DevOps Engineer
Cut my teeth building infrastructure from scratch for fast-moving startups in Belo Horizonte and São Paulo. Learned to do more with less — and why that matters.
What I Believe
Principles that guide every engagement.
Clarity Over Complexity
The best solution is the one your team understands. I'd rather a simple architecture you can maintain than a clever one you can't.
Your Team, Not Mine
Every engagement should make your team stronger, not more dependent. Knowledge transfer isn't a line item — it's the whole point.
Measure Twice
I assess before I recommend. No cookie-cutter solutions, no assumptions. The terrain is different for every client.
Plain Language
Technology is complex enough. I communicate in terms your business understands — no buzzwords, no jargon walls.
Ship Early, Iterate
Perfect is the enemy of production. I believe in getting something working, then making it better. Momentum matters.
Global Perspective
Working across Brazil and Canada taught me that the best ideas come from bridging cultures, tools, and perspectives.
